The composition of the landscape is good as the arrangement that was in the frame shows a lot of archways which pleases the eye. The levels of detail in this drawing makes this drawing more pleasing to the eye because the levels adds depth. The foreground is the pillar and the front of the archway which is there to add depth to the rest of the drawing makes the other two levels more pleasing for the eye. The midground contains the second archway and the second pillar. The left side of the archway would be the focal point of the image because of the shading and the impressionistic detail on the wall. The background contains the wall and the archway and the window. All of those objects are there so that the drawing does not just end with a void. There is a clear line in the image which can start from the pillar in the foreground to the the pillar in the mid ground which follows the second line of the first archway, it then goes along the bottom of the wall to the background.
There is impressionism all over the drawing to lower the complexity of all the designs carved into the stone and wood and it also shows the tiles. The carvings in the stone are in the background which was just done with scribbles to add some detail there and the wood was done with a few quick lines and the tiles on some of the walls are shown with lines. The impressionism used allow the eyes to follow the line of the drawing without confusing the eye. There are multiple sources of light in the drawing one is on the wall in the midground and another is coming from the background and is just out of sight because the landscape is an interior the shadows were simplified to make the landscape look alive without it confusing the eye with different types tones and highlights all over the place. The textures of the stone on the archway was captured by the shading because of how the light is not reflecting of any of the stone.

Final piece figure
The anatomy of the figure is good because all the bones and the muscles in the drawing are in the correct positions. The gesture of the legs gives the drawing life because of the bottom leg going underneath the other making the figure look like they are resting on there side. The pose is static because the gesture makes the figure look calm and the figure would be able to stay in that pose for a while. The angles on the figure adds to the weight of the figure. The angle of the shoulders show that the figure is leaning over to one side which adds to the gesture. The foreshortening particularly on the back of the top leg shows that the leg is coming closer. The figure is mostly in proportion to the head however the foot underneath the leg is out of proportion which could have been due to the angle the foot was in.
The balance and weight of the of the figure keep the figure looking like it can support it's self. In this drawing the balance and weight is on the lower side of the figure because the figure is leaning slightly to one side so to stay still the figure had to put more weight there so she could balance. The figure is in a closed form because the pose of the figure is pulling the focus inward. The figure is doing that by having the knees bent as if it is going closer to the torso. If the arm was stretched outward it would be any open form because the focus will be outwards.

Final piece Still Life
The arrangement of the objects makes the still life good as there is no orphaned objects, kissing objects or any centralized objects which allows for a better more pleasing composition because the eye will be able to follow the line of the objects without being confused. The focal point of the drawing is the basket as this is the object that the eye is instantly drawn to because of the size and the shading of the object. If you follow the line of the focal point you will find the other two objects that are the areas of interest these are here to keep the eye from losing interest in the still life and so the eye can follow the entire drawing. The shape of the objects contour were drawn with Convex's and Concaves on the wooden basket this gives makes the basket look more interesting especially on the rim of the basket. The form of all the objects was given by the shadows that were given off from the light. There are signs of different shading techniques. The one in particular cross hatching for the fabric on the table which would have been done so that there would look like it had a fabric texture.
The cast shadows are mainly found underneath the wooden pencil case and the behind the wooden basket. As the one underneath the pencil case is so small the shadow that is cast, the tone or the value of the shading does not change. However the cast shadow of the basket gets lighter nearer to the shadow of the handle. The form shadows on the basket looks to have a few bits where it rises so near the rim it is darker as it goes in but the is very light in the middle because of the light, lower down there are similar bits like that to show the form through shading. The objects overlap in the drawing making the three levels of detail. The basket is in the foreground and the pencil case is in the mid ground and the hexagon box is in the background. This adds a level of depth to the drawing as the objects are obviously behind each other. The objects in the drawing are in proportion as the objects are behind the basket so the other two objects will be smaller.

Landscape: Colour in spring
There is very little parts of the image that is comprised of one colour as the hull of the boat for example is is made up of blue and black because nothing is entirely one colour so there is no literal colours. The techniques used on this drawing to blend the colours are Burnishing which looks to be mostly used at the top of the drawing where the grass has been made of yellow and green with a reddish brown for the sticks. The grass however should have been done with the directional marks so there would be more of a grassy texture and would have simplified the complexity of the grass without obscuring the drawing because of the impressionism. The hull of the boat could have been done with cross hatching layers of blue and black which would have given the hull a more textured effect which is suitable for plastic.
The layers of detail in this go from the bottom right to the top left as the foreground is the path and the grass and the midground is the canal and the boat which is the focal point for the image because the eye will find that first due to the bright colours of the roof. The background is made up of the grass and the sticks. There is a line which combines all of the levels because of the focal point as at either point the drawing there is a line leading to the boat. The focal point is in the rule of thirds and as the line goes it the eye finds this image more interesting because the focal point is not centralized.

Landscape: Exterior Landscapes
The drawing was complex due to all the bricks that are used for the buildings and the base of he fountain so there are a few lines to show them without obscuring the focal point which is the left side of the building in the middle. The line of the drawing allows the eye to see the entire drawing from either side of the fountain and up the building. The landscape is in the rule of thirds because the focal point is directly on the rule of thirds which makes the composition more pleasing to the eye and the eye can follow that line from there which adds to the composition. The building which has the focal point is modern which comes from modernism. This is relevant because the buildings form has been simplified for the drawing.
The levels of detail in this drawing is good because the foreground which is the fountain has adds depth to the mid-ground which balances the composition making the drawing pleasing to the eye. The midground is where the main focal point is and because of this has the most detail. The background has a slant which goes inward to the midground which helps the eye to focus on the focal point. The composition of the landscape is good because the arrangement all the buildings makes the composition more interesting because everything focuses into the midground because of the lines.

Landscape: Classical Interior achtitecture
The layers of detail in this drawing makes it look like it is a more real interior. The mid-ground is the inside of the archway because that has the most detail and feels like it is the focus of the drawing. The Background is the stairs and the floor further back which helps the image not look like it just ends at a void. The Focal point of this image is the wall just before the stairs. This is because of the alcoves in the wall and the shading on the stairs which attracts the eye.The focal point is more interesting because it it on the rule of thirds meaning it is not directly in the middle which would have made the image look like it is to symmetrical which would have made the image boring for the eye. There is a little bit of impressionism for the floor as without some detail the drawing would look like it is floating which would break the rest of the image.
As this is an interior landscape there are multiple light sources one is looks to be from the back and the other from the light at the top this means that there are not a lot of shadows can be cast. Due to the textures of the stone used the shadows would have made the drawing softer and will make objects less distinct. The impressionism in the drawing was used for the archways as they only have a couple of scribbles to show that the archways have a design carved into it. This was done because it would have taken to long to get the designs as they are and the complexity of it would have distracted the eye from the rest of the drawing.

Figure: Non-Human Anatomy
This drawing of a duck has it's head turned which defines the neck and all the body. This also makes the drawing stronger and more dignified because it was not humanized. The darker shading on the body gives the sense of roundness that the curve gives. The pose of the figure is static as the duck would be able to stay like that for a while however the pose does also look like the duck is alerted to a noise. The figures form is closed because the wings are very close to the body and the focus is focused inwards due to the way the legs are going up into the body which is then followed by the dark shading going upwards.
The lines capture the animals personality well on the top and on the bottom of the animal. This is because both of the lines are angled in a way which makes the pose look like the movement was sudden as it goes from the head. The balance in the drawing goes from the spine down the leg because the animal is standing up and the balance has to be there for the duck to be able to stand up right. The relative scale of this drawing is good because all the parts of the animals body were measured from the head so both the vertical and the horizontal measurements are correct and in proportion.
