The anatomy of the figure is good because all the bones and the muscles in the drawing are in the correct positions. The gesture of the legs gives the drawing life because of the bottom leg going underneath the other making the figure look like they are resting on there side. The pose is static because the gesture makes the figure look calm and the figure would be able to stay in that pose for a while. The angles on the figure adds to the weight of the figure. The angle of the shoulders show that the figure is leaning over to one side which adds to the gesture. The foreshortening particularly on the back of the top leg shows that the leg is coming closer. The figure is mostly in proportion to the head however the foot underneath the leg is out of proportion which could have been due to the angle the foot was in.
The balance and weight of the of the figure keep the figure looking like it can support it's self. In this drawing the balance and weight is on the lower side of the figure because the figure is leaning slightly to one side so to stay still the figure had to put more weight there so she could balance. The figure is in a closed form because the pose of the figure is pulling the focus inward. The figure is doing that by having the knees bent as if it is going closer to the torso. If the arm was stretched outward it would be any open form because the focus will be outwards.
